Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Readvo website and the Readvo web reader at /read/ (together, “Readvo”), including Readvo PRO subscriptions bought on this website. Readvo is provided by İntepe Yazılım ve Bilişim Ltd. Şti., a company registered in Turkey (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using Readvo or buying a subscription, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Notice and our Refund Policy.

The Readvo app for iPhone and iPad is sold through Apple’s App Store. Purchases made in the app are covered by Apple’s terms, and Apple handles their refunds.

1. What Readvo does

Readvo reads text aloud. You paste text or upload a PDF, choose a voice, and Readvo turns it into speech with AI voices, highlighting each word as it’s spoken. When reading a PDF, Readvo tries to leave out page numbers, headers, footnotes and similar clutter. This is automatic, so it won’t be perfect for every document, and AI voices can mispronounce words.

2. Your account

• You can start listening without signing up: Readvo creates an anonymous account for your browser. To subscribe, you need an account with Google or with an email address and password.
• Keep your sign-in details safe. You’re responsible for what happens under your account.
• You must be at least 16 years old to use Readvo.

3. Free listening and Readvo PRO

• New accounts get a small amount of free listening (currently one minute of audio).
• Readvo PRO gives you unlimited listening on the web while your subscription is active, subject to the fair use rules below.
• The price, billing period and any taxes are shown before you pay. There’s no free trial: your first payment is taken when you subscribe.
• Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. If the price changes, we’ll tell you before the new price applies to a renewal.
• You can cancel at any time from Manage subscription in your Readvo account menu, or with the link in your receipt email from Paddle. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep PRO until the end of the period you’ve already paid for.
• Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy: you can get a full refund within 14 days of buying or renewing.
• A subscription bought on the web is separate from subscriptions bought in the iOS app.

4. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.

Payments are also subject to Paddle’s Buyer Terms. Paddle collects any sales tax or VAT, and sends your receipts and invoices.

5. Your content

• You keep all rights to the text and documents you give Readvo. You let us process them only to provide Readvo to you: extracting the text, generating speech and showing it to you.
• Only use content you have the right to use. Don’t upload anything illegal, or anything that infringes someone else’s rights.
• Audio that Readvo creates for you is for your own personal use. Don’t publish, sell or redistribute it.

6. Fair use

Please don’t misuse Readvo. That includes automated or bulk use (scripts, scraping), creating several accounts or otherwise getting around the free limit, sharing a PRO account with other people, reselling access, interfering with or overloading the service, and reverse engineering it where the law doesn’t allow it. We may limit, suspend or close accounts that do these things.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep Readvo running and to improve it, but it may sometimes be unavailable, and features may change. If we stop offering Readvo on the web, we’ll refund the unused part of active subscriptions.

8. Disclaimers and liability

Readvo is provided “as is”. Don’t rely on it where accuracy is critical: speech, highlighting and PDF cleanup can contain mistakes. To the extent the law allows, we aren’t liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that can’t be excluded.

9. Ending your use

You can stop using Readvo at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms. If we close your account without a good reason, we’ll refund the unused part of your subscription.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version on this page with a new date, and tell subscribers about important changes before they apply.
